Summer 2019 Atelier experience

image56

This week-long seminar is an opportunity for participants to work independently, side-by-side with Joynoelle designer, Joy Teiken, in her South Minneapolis Atelier.

Participants will be given several  project options or they may come with self-guided ideas knowing that basic patterning, draping, and construction techniques will be taught. A phone consultation will occur the week prior to the first day so Joy will understand the student's experience and concepts.

Designers will be encouraged to create a 3 piece capsule collection that will be shown during a salon-style presentation the final afternoon.

Redesign workshop

image61

You thought you’d wear it again.......now’s your chance!

Bring in that bridesmaid dress your best friend told you you’d be able to wear again, or that dated jacket with the beautiful fabric that you’ve hated to part with for the past 20 years because during  this day-long workshop participants will recreate, redesign and bring new life into old items to create new wearable pieces.

*This is not a tailoring class, it’s a creative sewing/ thinking outside the box experience.
